Fbb’s New ‘ BuraNaKhelo ‘ campaign this Holi for Women’s Safety
Worldwide, the International Women’s Day is celebrated demanding nothing but just-equality and the right to live independently. Fbb shares a strong view of the Occasion of Holi to stand up against the bad-touch encountered by many women during this festival. Fbb – India’s fashion hub deep dives into both these occasions and is developing a campaign to promote a fun and happy Holi for women in our country.
Talking out every female opinion fbb has produced a movie featuring Mithila Palkar narrating all women’s inner feelings. The movement encourages men and women to join Mithila’s hands and create awareness to ensure women are valued and make them feel safe under any circumstance. Fbb also provides all its customers with stickers in stores to help raise awareness of this initiative.
Holi aa rahi hai
Ismein rang hongey. Gulaal hoga.
Hansi hogi. Mazaak hoga.
Doston ke saath, music aur mastika mahaul hoga.
Par saathhi hogi thodi zor-zabardasti.
Thodi manmaani. Hai na?
Par bura na mano, Holi hai.
Because that’s the reality for many women across India
Rangon ke bahaane kareeb aana,
Bina poochhey idhar-udhar haath lagaana,
Aur hum mana karein to unkakehna,
“Bura namano, Holi hai”.
Speaking about the campaign Prachi Mohapatra, CMO – fbb says, “Freedom of speech is one of the best means of communication. Today, women are sharing the stories of their march for equality thanks to social media. Bura Na Khelo is a movement that speaks for millions of women out there who someday or the other have been handled in the wrong way. Let’s continue to support this women’s day as we celebrate all our successes and promote our race.”
