Join Likee #HoliHai2020 for a safe and fun Holi
Likee, Singapore-based BIGO Technology Pte Ltd.’s groundbreaking short global video creation platform has launched an exciting campaign #HoliHai2020 to celebrate the upcoming Indian Colours-Holi festival. Likee users get a chance to earn 100 beans by engaging with their friends and family in the program. The campaign also brings with it a digital twist to the traditional Holi festival, coinciding with the outbreak of Coronavirus in India, an urgent reminder to keep yourself safe during the festival.
The initiative is already live and, until March 11, developers will participate in the same. To receive beans, the user will need to use a link to invite other users or relatives. If the ranking-up page button is successfully disabled by a user’s friends the user can earn the random point number. A user also has an unlimited number of invitations per day but he/she can not invite a friend who has accepted the invitation already. With this Holi Festival virtual celebration, users can play Holi for an extended period with all their buddies, and make the most of it.
The campaign came at a time when the conventional way of playing Holi could be dangerous to people in India. Considering the Coronavirus outbreak in different parts of the country, people are abstaining from being a part of any large gatherings or from public transport. As of today, people are concerned about their daily activities and changing ways of preserving the utmost personal hygiene. With the virtual Holi celebrations of Likee people will enjoy the festivities without danger.
